Buying a wedding dress on a budget.I get quite a few brides in that only have a certain amount they want to spend. This particular bride had $1000 as her budget which included alterations. Her body shape was pear shaped bride. 

The photos show brides shape and what I choose for her that would flatter her shape. Gown  was $650 on sale and $250 for alterations.Total $ 900 Tips to remember when shopping for a wedding dress on a budget.

1. Ask for gowns that are on sale
2. Choose a wedding dress closest to your size to reduce alteration cost 3. Ask for a seamstress to give you a costing on the alterations that need to be done. 4. Check that wedding dress is in a clean state that doesn't need to be dry cleaned .
5. Also if you can wear a pair of heels bring a few pairs of shoes and try it on with your wedding dress, pick the heel height that would save on hem alterations .
