I had recently been to the David Jones Bridal Expo in Sydney in 2013 and felt extremely intimidated by their expensive size 6 gowns (I am a healthy size 12). After this experience, I visited Accapella Bridal hoping that it would be a more pleasant experience (I had read a number of positive reviews online). When I first went into the boutique I felt anxious and was shaking. Connie, the owner and operator put me at ease. She put me in a number of dresses that flattered my figure and gradually put together a picture of dress that she thought I would love. Although I didn't find anything that day, she knew the perfect dress for me would be arriving in a couple of weeks. A day before the dress arrived, I tried on a dress at another boutique that I saw online and loved to be able to compare the two. I then tried on the dress that Connie had ordered in and also loved it. I told her of my dilemma that I liked both dresses equally and wasn't sure which one to buy. Connie told me that I need to choose which one I love the most as it is my special day. I made the decision to purchase the dress from Connie and I told her my reason which was that her service was excellent, she made me feel comfortable and that I wanted to give her the business. She was touched by this experience, and welled up (and so did I). Based on my experiences, I would highly recommend Accapella Bridal. Connie helps you find a dress that suits you and your body shape, not the other way around. Danielle

The experience I love most about this bridal shop is how much Connie cares. Going to big bridal shops with generic dresses and staff that treat you like a sales meal, this boutique treats you like a bride. And what bride doesn't love to be the center of attention =)

The fact that Connie is a seamstress meant my dress fit perfectly on the day! I didn't have to worry about finding someone to do the alterations, or worry that the person altering will ruin my dress. Everything went perfect! She even put a little help in the front (chicken fillets) as it was a backless dress.

Most importantly it was ready when I was told the dress was going to be ready. Connie has exceeded all my expectations, she even sourced the perfect veil!
