I had a bride come to see me who loved the Justin Alexander tea length dress. I have it in my boutique but only a size 14,which my petite bride tried on trying to imagine it in her size but loving it all the same.

When it came to ordering ,I advised my bride to order a size 4, as the guipure lace is quite heavy and I wanted to closet fit to her size for less alteration when it came to bust panels. I had one inch in the seam allowance up my sleeve to let out if need be.

My hesitant bride was reassured by her mum who said she all the confidence in me knowing what I`m doing ( thank you ). So the bride agreed and I ordered the size I felt would need less alterations.

Walking into my boutique for her fitting , my bride was nervous about the size. I looked at her shaped and then the dress and said "I`m not".

She put on the dress as you can see ,it`s almost a perfect fit :-)

The result is a happy bride and by making the choice to get the closet possible size, we saved on cost by saving added and ultimantely unnessary
