Custom Changes Martina Liana 1510
Hi brides-to-be,
My bride came in to buy two wedding dresses, as it was a tradition for her mother-in law to buy her gown.
I suggested instead of buying two dresses, why don’t we have a dress with two looks?
The Bride loved Martina Liana 1510, as she was a busty bride and the square neckline made her feel comfortable in the dress.
I had the Martina Liana design team customise an over-skirt with the same lining, beading, and lace appliqués.
Her mother-in-law came to the appointment and loved the changes we were creating. The over-skirt gave the dress an a-line look and then the bride revealed the fit and flare for the reception.
A custom change is a big responsibility for me, as I need a clear understanding of what my bride wants and I need to explain it to the garment technician and design team.
To complicate matters further, the bride needed a split size dress
Size: 10 bust and waist
Size: 12 hips
Length was cut to size in production, therefore the only alteration for me to complete was the bustle … winning 🥰
