Don't spending a significant amount on alterations
Hey brides…Here is perfect example of how a sale dress can still be The One, with minimal alterations! The dress was $900 off my sale rack, and only required letting out at the hips…I think this bride looks AMAZING.
I understand that budget is a very real aspect of wedding dress buying, and I hear so many horror stories about women buying their dresses online…
Sale racks at boutiques will always be a safer options: I know the quality and structure of the dresses I purchase for my boutique, and I know what
changes I can make (and within what budget) to make them look the best they can.
Remember: It is NOT a sale gown if the size is far to big or too small…you will end up spending a significant amount on alterations.
