I bought this Justin Alexander 8689 dress and my seamstress said it was not possible to shorten the bodice like you did in your blog post in December 2014. She said it wouldn't look right. Do you think it's just too much work? I know there are a lot of layers... Is it that difficult to do? I see what you did in the pictures you posted I think it looks great.
