Alicia gets married today... Early in the year Alicia's mum rang me regarding a wedding dress for her daughter.She said they have been to Sydney a few times and one of the sales assistance mentioned my name as a good seamstress.
When Alicia's mum searched for 'Connie' 'seamstress' 'dressmaker', Accapella Bridal came up and the fact that I had started a new venture in opening up my own wedding boutique.On the phone she explained what she was after and I suggested that she had a look at the Justin Alexander gowns on my website, and the vintage she was after is very much in line with their designs.
They made an appointment and it was the second dress, a Justin Alexander the second dress that brought her mum and grandmother to tears- this was the dress she wanted!Her mum said couldn't believe that after searching high and low in Sydney that they found the dress in Wollongong.
She was happy and thankful the Sydney sales assistant pointed her in my direction in Wollongong :-) With the excitement of finding Alicia's dress her mum organised a toast to the dress with her bridesmaids so they could see it...I enjoyed the journey we had and my best wishes on your day.
