This is a story of the right bride at the right time…
I received my new collection yesterday at midday. I had been hanging out for the DHL man to come all morning! I started to unpack the dresses, and
had managed to press just two before my 2pm appointment arrived.
This bride walked in and explained that she was looking for a plain skirt and a lace bodice without beading. I looked at her and said, “I have just
pressed two new dresses, and they are exactly as you are describing!”
I dashed upstairs and brought them down for her. She tried on the first dress (pictured) and could not believe that it was just what she had been looking
for. I made her try on two other dresses, but we all knew that she had found The One when she put the first dress on!
She told me that she had been to Sydney and that none of the shops she visited had what she was looking for. I said to her, “Honestly, if you’re appointment
had been at 11am this morning, I wouldn’t have had what you were looking for either. This dress has only been in my boutique for two hours and
you’re the first person to try it on and the first to buy it. It was meant for you!”
