A Limited-Time Trunk Show at Accapella Bridal: Introducing Maison Yana

Something new is arriving at Accapella Bridal for the month of November.

For a limited period, we’ll be welcoming Maison Yana to the boutique for a special bridal trunk show, giving our brides the opportunity to experience a collection that isn’t normally available on our racks.

Trunk shows are one of the ways we continue to evolve the Accapella collection. They allow us to introduce new designers, explore different aesthetics and temporarily expand the choice available to our brides.

Maison Yana is the next collection we’re excited to welcome.

Introducing Maison Yana

Maison Yana is an international bridal house with a modern, feminine approach to bridal design.

The collection balances structure with softness — sculpted corsetry, elegant silhouettes, fluid skirts, delicate fabrics and considered details that give each gown its own identity.

There are romantic gowns, refined minimalist styles and more fashion-led designs, along with dimensional textures, intricate detailing and removable elements that allow a gown to take on a different feel.

The selection we have chosen for this trunk show offers beautiful variety and gives us the opportunity to experience the Maison Yana collection more fully.

These dresses feel distinctive, beautifully considered and very much worth experiencing in person.

Why Maison Yana

At Accapella Bridal, we are always looking for designers that bring something individual to the boutique.

For us, adding to the collection is never simply about having more gowns on the racks. It is about finding dresses with beautiful construction, interesting design and a point of difference.

Maison Yana brings that balance, and each of the visiting gowns has something unique and special to offer.

There is structure where support matters, softness where movement is important, and a breadth of silhouettes for brides drawn to everything from understated elegance to something a little more directional.

And sometimes, the gown you didn’t expect is the one that surprises you most.

Why a Maison Yana Trunk Show?

A trunk show allows us temporary access to a broader selection from a designer than we would normally have in the boutique.

During the Maison Yana trunk show, brides will have the opportunity to see and try gowns that may not become part of Accapella’s permanent collection.

Some styles may only be with us for the duration of the event, making this a rare opportunity to experience a wider selection from the collection in person.

What Will Your Appointment Be Like During the Trunk Show?

Your appointment during the Maison Yana trunk show will still feel exactly like an Accapella Bridal appointment.

You won’t be limited to Maison Yana, and there is no expectation that you spend your appointment trying gowns from only one designer.

If we feel a Maison Yana style may suit you, we may prioritise some of those gowns while they are with us. But we will continue to pull dresses from throughout the entire boutique.

As always, we’ll consider what you are drawn to, your proportions, the feel of your wedding, how you want to feel in your dress and the styles that suit you best.

The trunk show simply gives us more beautiful options to work with.

Our focus remains exactly the same:

finding the right dress for each bride.

Whether that dress is designed by Maison Yana, one of our permanent designers or something you never expected to try is secondary.

The right gown is the right gown.

A Chance to Discover Something Different

You don’t need to arrive already knowing which Maison Yana gown you want to try.

Part of the beauty of a visiting collection is the opportunity to explore.

You may have always imagined something soft and romantic and discover that you love a more structured silhouette.

You may arrive certain that you want lace and find yourself drawn to something beautifully clean.

Or you may put on a gown you would never have selected from a photograph and suddenly see it completely differently.

That is one of the reasons we encourage brides to keep an open mind.

Sometimes the most unexpected gown is the one that feels completely right.

The Collection Is Only Visiting

The Maison Yana trunk show will be with us for a limited period.

Once the event finishes, we’ll consider which dresses worked particularly well in our boutique. We may decide to keep some of the samples permanently at Accapella, while others will return to Maison Yana.

This may be your only opportunity to see some of these dresses in person in Australia.

Could Maison Yana Become Part of Accapella Bridal?

One of the advantages of hosting a trunk show is that it allows us to experience a designer properly.

We can see the gowns in the boutique, assess their construction and fit, and most importantly, see how our brides respond to them.

Sometimes a visiting collection simply comes and goes.

Sometimes particular gowns become immediate favourites.

And sometimes a trunk show becomes the beginning of something more permanent.

We’re looking forward to seeing how Maison Yana feels at Accapella Bridal — and which gowns resonate with our brides.

The Maison Yana trunk show will be held at Accapella Bridal in Wollongong for a limited period.
