My bride bought her dress and at the time loved it, but a few months later she called and said that she was no longer sure about her dress. I invited her to come back to the boutique so we could discuss what she didn't like to help put her mind at ease, but at the end of the day it's a big decision and I wasn't going to push her into making a choice either way. I just know what can and can't be done to a gown, and sometimes it's cosmetic adjustments that can make all the difference.

After we chatted things through, I managed to alter the dress to exactly what she pictured herself in... it was a simple two steps: I removed the godet and added capped sleeves with leftover hem.

That's all I did, and what a difference it made to the dress and to my brides peace of mind.
