Hi Brides to be, People often think that by having a certain shape over another is better or worse. Here is one of my brides that I have styled recently - an apple shape and at a petite 162cm tall.
This bride bought a gown off the rack as she had a 2 month deadline until her wedding.
Firstly, I chose for her a strapless tulle wedding dress, with ruching across waist. As you may be able to tell from the before and after photos I reduced
the amount of flare on the side seams, removed the train to just a sweep length at the back, removed the netting underlay which can really change the
shape of a dress in itself, and I added a Venice lace jacket which by me shortening just above her waist gave her a bit of extra height.
One very happy bride . Who said buying your wedding gown needed to be a stressful task?
