ALTERATION OF THE WEEK. This bride was looking for something understated as she was getting married for the second time - but she wanted a wedding dress instead of an evening dress from a regular boutique. This dress looked beautiful on her, but the full train was too over the top for the bride.
I removed most of the length of the train and left just enough to give the dress a dramatic sweep. She also wasn't keen on the embellishment on the belt, so I gave her the addresses of three Sydney fabric shops where I sourced fabric from when I was creating made-to-measure; these shops have a great selection of beaded motifs. The bride was able to find an embellishment that she was happy with and I easily changed the motif on the belt.
She was one very happy bride!
