Saying Goodbye
When I was twenty-two, my parents bought me my first industrial sewing machine. It has made many beautiful bride, bridesmaid, mother-of-the-bride and flower-girl outfits.
It has always been faithful, and has always done a beautiful job...but after 28 years it has decided to call it a day; had it looked at by the sewing
machine man and he said it's worn out and doesn't have long to go.
Very emotional as today I say goodbye to an old friend and hello to a new machine.
