The bride’s mother had mentioned to me that she wanted to do something special for her daughter’s big day…so I suggested I order a little bit of extra lace and she have a go at beading it for her daughter to wear as a headpiece.

I loaned her my tray of pearls and crystals, and gave her a little demonstration on how to choose the right one. Beading is relaxing, and I knew the mother would enjoy it, but it can be very time consuming.

Today she nervously showed off her work, and it was beautiful! I loved it. I told her that I thought it earned her an A+ in Connie’s School of Sewing! It’s not quite finished, but the bride already loves it and hopes that her own daughter will wear it to her future wedding.
