less than her original budget she secured what is essentially a one of a kind dress!
Alterations:
- 1.Removed net petticoat
- 2.Removed a layer of tulle between the satin and lace so that the lace layer was more transparent
- 3.Altered the shape of the satin and organza underskirts so they were more narrow - created a fitted skirt silhouette and showcased the weight the bride had lost
- 4.Removed the train
- These alterations turned the slightly outdated dress into a modern and flattering fashion statement direct from the runways!
